St George’s Day BSO Area Virtual Camp

25th/26th April 2020
BSO will be holding an Area Virtual Camp on 25th/26th April 2020 to celebrate St George’s Day. St George is the patron saint of England and according to legend tamed and slew a dragon that demanded human sacrifices; the saint thereby rescues the princess chosen as the next offering.

Calling all Explorers, Scouts, Cubs and Beavers in our Groups across the World to join our virtual Camp. All you have do to is:

  • Pack a Bag
  • Set up your camp either in the garden or in a den inside your home
  • Sleep in your camp or den overnight – claim a Night Away!
  • Assist with cooking a meal
  • Prepare a campfire – real or virtual
  • Take part in fun activities and Scouting activities towards your Challenge and Activity Badges
  • Connect with other BSO Scouts across the World and with Scouts in the UK

Prizes will be awarded for things like best camp site and completing activities successfully Look out for more details from your District/GSL and on BSO Website. We will also be
preparing special social media to celebrate the weekend together.
