It’s so important that every member completes either their Module 1 or 1E  training and has it validated within five months of their appointment. It’s also essential to make sure your ongoing safety and safeguarding training is up to date as this expires every five years. A simple  search of your training record  on Compass should show you if you need to fill any gaps. You can then complete the training using the links above (you’ll need to get in touch with a local training adviser or the national pool of volunteers to get it validated).
