We’re delighted to share that the Area Commissioner has appointed Victoria Mitchell (RoW Youth Commissioner) as Area Scouter (Explorer Scouts). Victoria has been delivering a brilliant programme of Young Leader Training to RoW Young Leaders and will now be working with DCs, Group Leaders and the Training Team to expand YL training across the Area.

British Scouting Overseas supports Scouting for young people and adult volunteers across the world. Our website is an important place for members, parents, volunteers and new families to find information, access resources and discover how to get involved. We are now redesigning the site so it is clearer, easier to update and better reflects the adventure, community and impact of Scouting overseas. About the role We are looking to appoint 2 volunteers to develop and support the International Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme across British Scouting Overseas, as part of the Programme Team. The roles will focus on supporting our Award Centres and those engaged in delivering the Award programme.
