We’re excited to officially announce the leadership team who will be guiding the Overseas UK Scouts Unit 1 to the 26th World Scout Jamboree in Poland in 2027 for British Scouting Overseas & Gibraltar Scouts.✨

Rachael, Joss, Kyra & Matthew bring a wealth of Scouting experience, energy, and commitment and as a team they're really looking forward to putting in place preparations for the exciting journey our WSJ unit will embark on – and planning is already well underway!

Over the next week or so, we’ll be sharing news about the recruitment and selection process of young people to join the adventure to Poland 2027.

About the role We're looking for a our leadership team for the 2026 BSO Summer Camp to the Swedish National Jamboree . We are recruiting now for a Team Leader and Deputy Team Leader for this camp, with those wishing to attend as a Team member able to register an expression of interest. A further round of team member recruitment may take place at a later date. When? 25 July – 1 August, 2026. Where? Norra Åsum, just outside the city of Kristianstad in Skåne, the most southern region of Sweden. The camp site is close to where the World Scout Jamboree was held in 2011.

About the role We're looking for a BSO Team Member to play a key role in supporting with the management of our Microsoft 365 tenant, managing users, supporting users and helping team members to utilise the suite of tolls to their potential. The role will focus on responding to support tickets and being part of our first line support for our 300+ users.

About the role We're looking for a BSO Team Member to play a key role in creating, curating, and sharing engaging online content that showcases the activities across British Scouting Overseas (BSO). The role will focus on building BSO’s profile across our social media platform, celebrating success and inspiring young people and volunteers to get involved in BSO. The Team member(s) will manage and grow BSO’s social media presence, promoting events and opportunities. They’ll also make sure that stories are shared widely and effectively across platforms.
