Updating Pages & Content

Copy & Paste

Copy and Paste is available within the editor to copy elements, however, check all spacing for the item on all devices after using. These reset to their defaults and may cause display issues on the page.

Duplicating Pages

This is an option available to speed up creating pages in a consistent manner. However, there are some common pitfalls which need to be avoided;

  1. Check ALL page settings
  2. Make sure the page URL follows the correct path.
  3. Check that all other page details are relevant.
  4. Check that the Social Icon is still relevant.
  5. If required in the Navigation Menu, follow these instructions.
  6. Check that all page content and links are checked and updated (including the page path above the header).
  7. Check the page displays correctly on all devices.

Publishing Changes

Before publishing any changes, check that they are displaying correctly on all devices.

There are two options available to publish your changes. In most cases you should be publishing individual pages only. This helps to prevent accidental changes being made to the site but also prevents other people's unfinished changes being published by mistake

  1. In the side panel of the editor, click Pages.
  2. Click the settings (cog) icon next to page you want to publish.
  3. Click Publish page.
    A calendar icon displays on the page to indicate it has been published separately from the entire site.

If you need to re-publish the whole site, please check with ALL EDITORS that they do not have any unfinished changes that could be pushed to the live site.
