Area Youth Team
Theo Lasar
Area Youth Lead
I joined Beavers with Telstar in Luxembourg in 2013 and have been involved in Scouting ever since, progressing through every section. I later became Deputy Youth Lead for Northern Europe, where I began volunteering with BSO.
I’m now BSO’s Area Youth Lead, a member of the National Council and part of Network. I’m looking forward to working with young people and volunteers across BSO to make Scouting more youth-led and ensure young people can shape their own experiences. Scouting has given me skills I use every day, some of my closest friends and a place where I can lead and influence decisions. As Youth Lead, I hope to give young people the same opportunities I was offered.
Outside of Scouting, I’m studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics in the UK and am involved with civil society organisations focused on youth participation, advocacy, and leadership.
