I’ve been active in Scouting since I joined as a Cub, progressing through all the sections at my group, 2nd Inverness (Kingsmills) becoming a leader in 2002. I was delighted to be appointed GSL in 2016 whilst continuing with the Scout Section, after several years holding District and Regional roles.
In my role as Deputy AC (Perception), I lead our team who promote BSO through our social channels, communicate with our members as well as managing our heritage of British Scouting outside the UK
I’ve been involved in Scouting since I was a Scout, and before was a Rainbow and a Brownie! I’ve been an adult leader since 2014 as an Assistant Cub Leader, an Explorer Leader as well as holding county roles and I am currently involved with my local Air Scout Group and local campsite and within BSO as a trainer for module 12b as well as with Social Media.

Item LinkI’ve been part of the Scouts from the age of 6 as a Beaver progressing through all the sections at my group, including returning as a young leader and now as an adult leader. During the covid pandemic I started to volunteer more on the managerial side of scouting. As well as my role with BSO I’m currently the Lead Volunteer for External Communications for Hampshire Scouts as well as a part of their Top Awards team. I also volunteer at district level and group level. Day to day I work at Ferny Crofts Scout Activity Centre as an Instructor.
